Our Volunteers

At Cheka Sana Foundation, we come to work every day because we won’t stop until we create a just and fair world for street children

Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy Volunteer

Phillip Springford

Phil is the Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy Volunteer at Cheka Sana. He holds a First Class Honours in Law and a Master’s in Management from the London School of Economics; and is currently working for Goldman Sachs at their London office. As a strong believer in social justice initiatives, particularly passionate about women and children’s rights, Phil hopes to make a significant impact to CSF’s fundraising activities in order to propel the organisation into its next phase.

Manager, Community & Individual Giving Volunteer

Rosie Cowperthwaite

Rosie the Community Fundraising and Individual Giving Volunteer at Cheka Sana. She is a trained early years teacher, living in North Bedfordshire. Rosie shall be heading up community fundraising for Cheka Sana, ensuring Cheka Sana’s name and the great work we do is known by as many people as possible. She will be organising a variety of events in the community and online, as well as communicating with the wider public. Cheka Sana is a charity close to Rosie’s heart as she volunteered at the project in Tanzania during her gap year in 2007.

Donate today
