Trustee

Mr. James Kabogoza

James is currently a Senior Consultant on children’s issues. He formerly worked as an Assistant Commissioner in charge of children affairs in the Ministry of Gender, Labour and Social Development. He has over 30 years experience in child protection programming, social sector planning and management, child rights training, project planning and management, social policy analysis and orphans and other vulnerable children programming. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work and Social Administration from Makerere University and a Post Graduate Diploma from Victoria University, Canada in Youth and Children Studies.

He has also been involved in various research projects related to child protection; violence against children, situational analysis of OVC, situational analysis of street children with disability, child poverty analysis, and assessment of the implementation of the UN convention on the rights of children and other international instruments on children which have been ratified by Uganda.

Trustee

Mrs. Prima Nalubega

Prima is a seasoned accountant, administrator and counsellor. Prima has over 30 years working with the charity sector (mental health), the private sector (banking and hospitality) and government (general health). Currently, Prima is a practicing counsellor with the Uganda Counselling Association.

Prima worked with some of the prominent entities such as Makerere University College of Public Health as an Assistant Registrar and Spear Motors as a Wages Officer.

Prima also worked as an Assistant Manager in the establishment of CitiBank in Uganda. She also serves on the board of Devine Mercy Women’s Group based in Kampala.

Trustee

Dr. Charles Wamboga

Charles is a Senior Medical Doctor of the Ministry of Health, Uganda. He also Manages the National Sleeping Sickness Control Program, a collaborative study between LSTM, the Ugandan Ministry of Health and Institute de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD) in France.

Charles is passionate about and is involved in community led efforts aimed at improving lives of vulnerable children.

Charles has a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBchB). He also holds a Master’s degree in the field of Clinical Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
